A New Creation
- Creation happens when someone has a passion. A “strong compelling emotion”.
- For bakery chefs it's a new taste.
- For engineers it's a new design.
- For inventors it's something better.
- In Psalm 51, David admits he is a sinner, a transgressor of the law of God.
- “Blot out my transgressions”
- “Wash me from mine iniquity”
- “Cleanse me from my sin”
- ‘I acknowledge my transgression”
- “Against thee and thee only have I sinned”
- David has a passion for a creation in him of a “new heart”
- “Wash me throughly from mine iniquity”
- “Cleanse me from my sin”
- “Purge me, wash me”
- David knew what this new creation would taste like, look like, feel like.
- His record would be clean, even whiter than snow.
- He would once again hear joy and gladness.
- A right spirit would fill his heart
- The joy of salvation would cause him to sing praises to God
- The Holy Spirit would be his constant companion.
- David knew who could do such a miraculous creation
- “Have mercy upon me oh God, according to thy loving kindness
- According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out
- My transgressions”
- Hebrews 13:8 “God is the same, yesterday, today, forever.
- God is still in the CREATION business.
- Do you have a passion for His new creation of your heart?
- Do like David did. Go to God in prayer. In fact use David's prayer in Psalm 51.
- The results will be the same as David’s.
God Bless.
