There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the Holy Scriptures, and through all of creation itself.

The biblical account of creation is of the physical universe, angels, and man; and this account is neither allegory nor myth, but a literal, historical account of the direct, immediate creative acts of God without any evolutionary process. Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory, and not from previously existing forms of life; and all men are descended from the historical Adam and Eve, the first parents, created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.

Man was created in innocence (in the image and likeness of God) under the law of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression Adam fell from his sinless and happy state, and all men sinned in him. In consequence, all men are totally depraved, partakers of Adam’s fallen nature, sinners by nature and by conduct, and therefore are under just condemnation without defense or excuse.

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

The church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. The local church is an organized congregation of immersed believers, associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws; and exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His Word.
