The Creation Declares God

It's Sunday morning, I’m up early. Something exciting is happening outside.
I hear the birds singing, the squirrels are chattering, and the rooster is crowing. Now, I don’t understand their language, but if I would guess, I think they are agreeing with God and what He wrote about nature in Genesis chapter 1. At the end of each day of creation, God declares that “It was good”. Translated, that means having qualities that are desirable, pleasing, beautiful, useful, worthy of praise.
James writes in 1:17 “Every good gift, every perfect gift, is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights.”
God creates only good things because His moral character is inherently good.
Taking time to dwell on the goodness of God “Will lead thee to repentance” the apostle Paul writes in Rom.2:4.
David counsels us in Psalms 34:8 to “taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man that trusteth in Him”.
How about you? Have you considered the goodness of God?
Isa 1:18 says “Come now, let us reason together with the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet they shall be white as snow, though they be red like crimson they shall be as wool”.
God forgives sin. Repent and trust in His salvation today! He is only a prayer away.
