Faith for the Future

This coming year, like all the others, will bring its challenges to our christian life. We will need to exercise faith to be victorious.

Can you imagine what would've happened to Noah’s family if he would have gotten discouraged and quit building the ark after only a few weeks or months?

What if Joseph, after being horribly mistreated, would have said there must not be a God who cares, then given up?

What if Moses would have told God “It's impossible what you want me to do”, and not gone to deliver Israel?

What if David would have been afraid like the other soldiers in Israel and not slain Goliath?

What if Daniel would not have believed in prayer and not been able to reveal the dream to Nebuchadnezzar?

On and on the stories of faith are told in the Bible. Hebrews chapter 11 tells us why faith is so important. Verse 6 says:

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

God will reward your faith if you believe in His person and promises for this new year.
