Flowers of God

April showers bring May flowers.Yep, they are blooming around the yard.
Some will blossom for a short time, others will show their colors all summer into the fall. But all will stretch forth in their time to show off their different colors and different aromas.

Just like flowers are different, man has thought of different purposes for flowers.

For instance:

  1. Expressions of love

  2. Show thoughtfulness and care

  3. Decorate rooms and yards with their magnificent color

  4. Place in a room to fill with their aroma

  5. Many medical purposes

God has His purposes for flowers as well.

Matthew 6:31-33
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

He decorated the walls in the temple with engraved flowers, possibly as a reminder of His love and affection. The gospels remind us that flowers grow and blossom on their own and are more magnificent than any design or beauty than even the richest person could attire themselves in. They certainly display the superiority of their Creator.

Matthew 6:28-30
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Flowers! They are reminders of God’s love. And because He loves us, He will take care of our every need in the most magnificent way.

Let God do His work in designing your life, and letting the fragrance attract others.

God Bless.
