A New Creation

Creation happens when someone has a passion. A “strong compelling emotion”.

  • For bakery chefs it's a new taste.

  • For engineers it's a new design.

  • For inventors it's something better.

  • In Psalm 51, David admits he is a sinner, a transgressor of the law of God.

    • “Blot out my transgressions”

    • “Wash me from mine iniquity”

    • “Cleanse me from my sin”

    • ‘I acknowledge my transgression”

    • “Against thee and thee only have I sinned”

  • David has a passion for a creation in him of a “new heart”

    • “Wash me throughly from mine iniquity”

    • “Cleanse me from my sin”

    • “Purge me, wash me”

  • David knew what this new creation would taste like, look like, feel like.

  • His record would be clean, even whiter than snow.

  • He would once again hear joy and gladness.

  • A right spirit would fill his heart

  • The joy of salvation would cause him to sing praises to God

  • The Holy Spirit would be his constant companion.

  • David knew who could do such a miraculous creation

    • “Have mercy upon me oh God, according to thy loving kindness

    • According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out

    • My transgressions”

  • Hebrews 13:8 “God is the same, yesterday, today, forever.

    • God is still in the CREATION business.

    • Do you have a passion for His new creation of your heart?

  • Do like David did. Go to God in prayer. In fact use David's prayer in Psalm 51.

    • The results will be the same as David’s.

God Bless.
