A New Creation
Creation happens when someone has a passion. A “strong compelling emotion”.
For bakery chefs it's a new taste.
For engineers it's a new design.
For inventors it's something better.
In Psalm 51, David admits he is a sinner, a transgressor of the law of God.
“Blot out my transgressions”
“Wash me from mine iniquity”
“Cleanse me from my sin”
‘I acknowledge my transgression”
“Against thee and thee only have I sinned”
David has a passion for a creation in him of a “new heart”
“Wash me throughly from mine iniquity”
“Cleanse me from my sin”
“Purge me, wash me”
David knew what this new creation would taste like, look like, feel like.
His record would be clean, even whiter than snow.
He would once again hear joy and gladness.
A right spirit would fill his heart
The joy of salvation would cause him to sing praises to God
The Holy Spirit would be his constant companion.
David knew who could do such a miraculous creation
“Have mercy upon me oh God, according to thy loving kindness
According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out
My transgressions”
Hebrews 13:8 “God is the same, yesterday, today, forever.
God is still in the CREATION business.
Do you have a passion for His new creation of your heart?
Do like David did. Go to God in prayer. In fact use David's prayer in Psalm 51.
The results will be the same as David’s.
God Bless.
